You probably have played with the Mini House by now. It is after all the world’s first digital friendly origami done by Discovery Overland Holidays to promote Tropical Village Mini World.
For those who don’t know, Tropical Village Mini World is a wonderful theme park in Ayer Hitam, Johor, Malaysia and like its name suggests, it hosts mini landmarks of the world in its 12.8 hectare of verdant garden.
It’s fun putting the Mini House origami together, far, far easier than I thought. I tore it from the perforated edges of the print insert and boxed up the walls together. Next, I placed the Mini House origami over my webcam and video-called a friend via Skype.
To my surprise, I see myself as a giant peering into a Mini House and so did my friend from the other line. No wonder Mini World caused so much stir and created such a big impact, one that I suspect that might last for many years to come.
